This survey is for having your safe delivered and set in your home or office. The best way to survey your site is to walk the best path from the curb at your location to the exact set in place. If this survey is not filled completely and accurately, extra charges could be occurred at the time of delivery. The delivery workmen will walk the path with you and have a copy of the survey on them. This service will need to know if any stairs are going to be used. Interior stairs in homes can typically only withstand 400 to 500 lbs. Anything heavier will have to be set in on a ground floor and some weights will require they be set on concrete. Include any elevation change required in lifting the safe. We will need to know what kind of floors we will need to protect, carpeted, hardwood, tile, vinyl, etc. Any threshold is an increase in elevation and should be noted when passing through door ways. Residential customers note the threshold at the basement door if we are delivering a weighted safe into the basement. Be sure to note the size of any door way with and with out the door thickness. Make sure the safe can pass through all door ways. Note any steep elevations in ground outside from the curb to entry of location. If loading dock is to be used, please note. Note what kind of ground we will be passing through. Heavier safes moving over grass will require platforms set down. Please be accurate and complete when filling out this form. A free site survey is offered for local customers in the Maryland State area upon ordering your safe.
